LifeCare Hospice of SC offers a special way of caring for those facing a life-threatening illness. Our services are characterized by a team-oriented approach that includes expert pain and symptom management, along with emotional and spiritual support tailored to the patient's wishes. Our staff is dedicated to the belief that no one should reach the end of their life alone, afraid or in pain, and that people of all ages, all races, and all religious beliefs have the right to appropriate end-of-life care.

LifeCare Hospice of SC, the only locally owned and operated hospice in Darlington County, is proud to offer educational services to the community. We are available to come to your group and provide information about hospice services. These groups can include work settings, church groups, civic groups, support groups or any other group that wants more information about hospice care and services. These sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or more, and the dates and times can be flexible depending on your group’s needs and wants.

LifeCare Hospice of SC affiliations include The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. We are Medicare and Medicaid certified and accredited with CHAP’s, Community Health Accreditation Program. Accreditation is not required in the hospice industry but it demonstrates the commitment of LifeCare Hospice to be the best we can, in providing the highest quality of care available. Presently only 18% of hospices nationwide are accredited, and LifeCare Hospice of SC is the only accredited hospice located in Hartsville.

LifeCare Hospice of SC’s hope is that we can support you, so that when your days on earth draw to a close, you will feel that your life has mattered, your love has been returned, your legacy has been assured and your purpose has been fulfilled.
